Why Mastering Midlife?

Midlife is a time of significant biological change for both genders. For women, fluctuating hormones can cause frustrating weight gain, brain fog, low libido, and anxiety. For men, a decline in testosterone and growth hormone, an increase in cortisol, and developing insulin resistance can lead to weight gain, fatigue, muscle loss, and mood swings. This program recognizes that these are not just normal parts of aging but signals from your body that require a personalized approach.

Mastering Midlife uses Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), a powerful yet underutilized tool that provides comprehensive insights into your body’s mineral levels, heavy metal toxicity, and overall metabolic health. This non-invasive test uses a small sample of hair to evaluate your mineral status and the intricate balance of essential nutrients in your body. Understanding these patterns can be profound, addressing issues from fatigue and cognitive function to hormonal imbalances and metabolic concerns and helps me create a highly personalized plan that goes beyond guesswork.

One of my favorite things about this test? It helps me to connect the dots between your symptoms and what’s actually going on in your body, meaning that if something feels off, it’s not in your head!

But HTMA is just one part of my approach to understanding and addressing the underlying causes of health issues. Based on insights from your HTMA and other assessments, your program will focus on:

  • Hormone Optimization: Strategies to support and balance hormones that decline with age for both men and women.
  • Metabolism & Weight Management: Targeting the “midlife metabolism meltdown” by focusing on building muscle through strength training, improving insulin sensitivity, and optimizing gut health to reduce inflammation and manage your weight naturally.
  • Improve Gut Health: Understand the crucial link between your gut and overall well-being.
  • Reduce Inflammation: Learn how to identify and combat inflammation, a root cause of many midlife symptoms.
  • Stress & Sleep: Implementing techniques to manage chronic stress and improve sleep quality to reduce cortisol and support overall well-being.

Coupled with:

  • Personalized Integrative Lifestyle Program – Rather than a set “curriculum”, the experience is completely tailored to you. We’ll work together for 3 months, and have coaching sessions every other week. During the initial follow up session, I help you get crystal clear on where you want to go and what next-level version of you you’re trying to step into. Then, as we move through the weeks, I use my laser-focused, “get to the root”, intuitive superpowers to identify and help you shift all the STUFF that’s getting in your way.
  • Somatic Therapy and Mindset Support – Working with the nervous system, adopting lifestyle habits and practicing specific techniques to support emotional regulation, trauma relief, and overall well-being, which fosters a sense of calm and resilience
  • Ongoing Coaching and Accountability – In between sessions, you get unlimited access to me via Voxer, a super fun walkie-talkie app where we get to leave each other voice messages (so efficient!) and you can lean on me for any support you need.

Step 1: Test, Don’t Guess

I begin with an HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis) testing package. This powerful tool reveals what your body has been trying to tell you—mineral imbalances, stress patterns, and where support is truly needed. No more guessing or generic protocols.

Step 2: Dig Deep While We Wait

While we wait for your results, you’ll complete a detailed intake so I can understand your symptoms, history, stress load, and lifestyle. I’ll begin laying the foundation with nourishment, mindset support, and simple shifts that meet you where you are.

Step 3: Your Personalized Integrated Health Plan

When your HTMA results arrive, I personally curate a realistic, step-by-step plan that actually fits your life—not someone else’s. This includes doable nutrition tweaks if needed, targeted supplements, nervous system support, and daily rhythms to help you feel better from the inside out. No extremes. No pressure. Just steady, sustainable healing rooted in your body’s real needs.

Step 4: Support That Fits You

Once your plan is delivered, you’ll receive follow up support to utilize at any point within three months to answer any questions that arise.

From there, your next step is up to you:

  • You can take your plan and implement it on your own alongside a supportive community of fellow participants. 
  • Continue working with me 1:1 through a personalized coaching package 
  • Use the results to guide your work with another health professional you already trust
  • Or a combination of all three—whatever fits your life best
